New York— The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with computer manufacturer Lenovo, issued a statement March 8th regarding an immediate product recall of Lenovo ThinkCentre M70z and M90z desktop computers.
As stated in the safety notice, a defect in an internal component in the power supply can overheat, posing a potential fire hazard to consumers. When flames are generated from the computer overheating, nearby household items are at risk catch fire, posing fire and smoke hazards to consumers using these desktop computers. (more…)
